Illustrator is general-purpose drawing and illustration software offering comprehensive control over the graphic appearance of documents. Although Illustrator does not provide the same subtlety of control as Photoshop over raster information, nor the same precision as AutoCAD over vector information, it provides excellent control over the visual attributes of text, line, and tone.
