Any elements and text placed on a master page can be made to appear on all pages of a publication.

To view a Master Page, open the Pages window (Window > Pages) and double-click on the A-Master icon.

Master Pages can be added, renamed, etc., at any time.

There can be multiple master pages in an InDesign document.
